Lillie Jane "Glasscock" Reynolds was born October 28, 1881, at Pilot Point, Denton County, Texas. She was one of the nine children of John Preston and Margaret Ellen "Wright" Glasscock. John and Margaret had moved their family from Kentucky to Pilot Point in 1875. The family moved to Oldham County in 1892 because of the great land opportunity. They moved in a covered wagon with the older children walking most of the way. The trip took three weeks. The family found themselves living in a very crowded half dugout house, consisting of one large room. Lillie was eleven years old at the time. Lillie Jane Glasscock married Alfred Lowan Reynolds. They were the parents of nine children: Elmina, Lowen, Lucy, Maggie, Jack, Alfred, Neoma, Earl and Baby Boy Reynolds. Alfred died in 1927 and Lillie moved to Adrian to be closer to her brothers and sisters. Lillie passed away in Adrian in 1969 and was buried in the "Memorial Park Cemetery" Oldham County, Texas.

As a great-great-granddaughter of Peter Glasscoke (1714-1784) Lillie Jane "Glasscock" Reynolds' descendants are entitled to membership in the Sons or Daughters of the American Revolution (SAR/DAR) and other patriotic organizations.
