Mr. Munsch was a member of the American Legion Post No. 152, Ness City, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7972, Ransom, the Knights of Columbus Council 2624, Ness City, and the United States Bowling Congress.
On July 29, 1961, he married Sharon Kay Delaney in Ness City. She survives.
Other survivors include his daughter, Cynthia and her husband, William "Boe" Levingston of Great Bend; four brothers, Lawrence and Harry, both of Cheyenne Wells, Colo., Jerry of Ness City and Robert of Lawrence; a sister, Wanita Reinert, Great Bend; a stepgranddaughter, Robin and her husband, Jamie Wetig of Atchinson; a stepgrandson, Jason Levingston of Great Bend; grandchildren, Allison, Jordan and Austin of Great Bend; stepgreat-grandchildren, Brittany and Alec Wetig and Skyler Zecha and Taylor Schartz. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Edwin and Ralph Munsch, and two sisters, Velma Boltz and Arlene Hanan.
Parish vigil and rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
