Edna Grubb was born to Martha Adkins and was adopted at a young age to her Rinehart parents. Her father is unknown at the time. She may have a sister by the name as Ida. There is also a possiblity that Ida Adkins was her mother, but what makes the most sense at the moment is Martha being her mother.
