OGDEN – Scott David Jensen, 43, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

He was born April 26, 1966 in Ogden, a son of Waldo A and Lynette Garner Jensen. He graduated from Weber High School and attended the Weber ATC.

Scott was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission to Dearborn, Michigan.

He worked in production at Autoliv for many years.

Scott was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He loved being outdoors enjoying photographing animals and outdoor scenery. He also enjoyed water skiing. He was an artist and made many pencil drawings. Scott collected pins, hot wheel cars, baseball cards and arrow heads. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his parents of North Ogden; two brothers, Chad R. (Jennifer) Jensen, North Ogden; Brett M. (Ashley) Jensen, Clearfield; two sisters, Cami (Randy) Vanderpool, North Ogden; Shanna (Kevin) Duke, Logan; nieces and nephews; and his grandmother, Bessie A. Jensen.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Beatrice Garner, Floyd Jensen, and one niece, Kate Elizabeth Duke.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the doctors and staff at McKay-Dee Hospital for their care.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the McKay-Dee Hospital Foundation.
