Horey Rite To Be Held This Morning

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Thursday, in the Cashmere United Methodist church for Mrs. Nettie Mae (Sutton) Horey, 90, who died October 5.

Mrs. Horey was a member of a pioneer family and was an early-day teacher in the Upper Valley.

Rev. Mr. James A. Moore will conduct the service. Soloist will be Mrs. Robert Bates, who will he accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Edgar Moyer.

BURIAL IS TO follow In the Cashmere cemetery with the following as casket bearers: Hank Parkins, Ed Gladfeltrr, Tom Spears, Doug Adkins, Fred Bitle and Frank Horey. Braun Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Horey was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Jim Sutton. She was born at St. Cloud, August 20, 1880. Later she moved to Spokane, where she was graduated from high school. After attending the University of Washington, she was a teacher at Lake Wenatchee and Dryden.

On May 29, 1910, she was married to Frank Horey. The couple made their home in Cashmere.

Mrs. Horey was a member of the Royal Neighbors, the Methodist church and church women's organizations.

Mr. Horey died in 19S6, and a daughter, Gladys, in 1954. Surviving are three sons, Jim and John Horey of Cashmere, and Harold of Bellevue; three daughter, Mrs.

Fred Bttle, Leavenworth, and Mrs. Beve Spears and Mrs. Mary Adkins of Cashmera; a brother, John Sutton, Cashmere; a sister, Edna Brown of Wenatchee; 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
