Ida C Anderson, pioneer resident of the Wenatchee Valley passed away in the Leavenworth hospital last Friday morning at the age of 76 years. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 pm at the Kuelbs and Braun Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Max Wills officiating. During the services Mrs. Earl Barnes sang accompanied by Earl Barnes.
Mrs. Anderson was born on December, 13th, 1877 at Williamstown, Missouri. She grew to womanhood in Missouri and married B. L. Ryan on January 1, 1896. Following their marriage they moved to Montana and lived there until 1908, then coming to Wenatchee Valley and locating at Peshastin where they operated a fruit ranch. Mr. Ryan passed away in 1925. Following Mr. Ryan's death she moved to Leavenworth to make her home.
She married C. W. Patterson in 1928, and they located on a fruit ranch east of Cashmere and lived there until Mr. Patterson's death in 1937.
In 1947 she married John L. Anderson and lived on what is known as Flowery Divide west of Cashmere until his death in 1951. Following Mr. Anderson's death, Mrs. Anderson traveled extensively and returned to Cashmere to make her home. She enjoyed a trip to Australia in 1952.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. R. L. Sparks of Leavenworth, 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 4 step children.
Interment took place in the Cashmere cemetery with D. L. Moody, J. Harold Anderson, George Burgett, Charlie Williams, Sim Smith and Hy Rieke, as casket-bearers.
