Fred slept up in the attic in a nightgown and cap and had a pee pot under the bed. Before going to bed he would put a wad of money on the top step of the attic stairs. He felt it would be safe there. I slept with him sometimes and would watch him place the money on the step but in the morning saw the money was gone! When I asked him where it went he told me the mice took it for their nest.
