Company F became Company G on May 8, 1862. Captured at the Battle of Spotsylvania (the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House), Spotsylvania County, Virginia May 20, 1864. Took oath of allegiance to U. S. Government at Elmira (Union Army Prisoner of War Camp), New York September 30, 1864.
