Mr. Griffith had spent the larger part of his life in Oregon, much of the time in Clackamas County. He had recently made his home with a brother, James Griffith of Logan, a pioneer Indian Scout and also an Indian war veteran.
Surviving are the brother James of Logan, and a niece, Mrs. McLean of Los Angeles, who has been in charge of the Griffith home since the death of her mother and wife of James.
The remains are at the Holman, Pace & Hankins mortuary.
