A homemaker, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Rube and Grace Adams, two husbands, Noble Hoppe and Charles Brown, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Hoppe of Mabank, Texas and Tony Hoppe of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a daughter Susan Gardner of Chandler, Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 14, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Chandler. A graveside service will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Borger, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary North of Oklahoma City.
