Services for Shirlene Porter, 53, of Homer, were held Monday, July 25 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Fielder Cemetery.
Mrs. Porter died Saturday afternoon following a brief illness.
She was born July 17, 1935 and had resided in Homer all of her life. She was a member of the Homer United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, RD "Denny" Porter; daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Wayne Durham; son and daughter-in-law Steven and Jan Porter; granddaughter Stephanie Durham; mother Vada Duke; sister and brother-in-law Ernestine and George "Pete" Conner; niece Donna Conner, all of Homer; and father-in-law Charlie Porter of Huntington.
