He was born in Castlegate, March 26, 1893, and had been a school teacher in Duchesne county for several years. He was a graduate of Brigham Young University at Provo.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Thayn Arnold; one son, Lewis Arnold; his father, William Arnold; six brothers, William, Olen, Reed and Darwin Arnold of Blackhawk, and Gomer Arnold of Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Oviatt of Elmo and Mrs. Geneve Grundvig of Wellington.
