Mrs. Louisa Dershem, wife of John R. Dershem, residing ten miles west of this city, near Kemp, died this morning shortly after midnight, as the result of six weeks' illness following an attack of paralysis.
Deceased was born in Pickaway county, Ohio, May 9, 1841, living past the age of 64 years. She has been the mother of seven children, four of whom have preceded her to the grave. She was quite well known in the western part of the county, and many friends are left to mourn her loss.
The funeral will be held from the M.E. church in Allentown, Saturday morning, the cortege leaving the late residence at 10 o'clock, and her old pastor, the Rev. Weaver, now of Celina, conducting the memorial. Interment in Allentown cemetery.
