James N. Dershem, 69, died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. I. Miller of Lima, after 13 weeks' illness. He was a blacksmith at the Lima Locomotive Works. the body will be at the home until 2 p.m. Thursday when funeral services will be at the Davis Miller and Son mortuary, with the Rev. F.W. Rohlfing officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
He is survived by four sons, John E. of Detroit; Daniel F. of Akron; Byron H. and Oliver P. of Lima; two daughters, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Lewis Frysinger of Defiance; 26 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; two brothers, Sheldon of Southworth, and Jess of Kemp; two sisters, Mrs. Oris Miller of Spencerville and Miss Hattie Dershem of Spencerville.
