Dorothy Elizabeth Bear Moody 85, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, January 23, 2006. She was born September 4, 1920 in Tipton, IN to Marion and Mary Altherr Bear.

Dorothy graduated from Tipton High School and married Winferd "Bud" Moody November 14, 1942 in Langley Field, VA.

She worked as an Activities Director and in Social Services for Brookview Nursing Home for nearly 18 years, retiring in March 1983. Mrs. Moody was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and their Ladies' Club, World Apostolate of Fatima. She also served on the Pro-Life Committee, and received the Archdiocesan Edward T. O'Mara Pro-Life Award in 2001.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Winferd "Bud" Moody; daughters, Barbara L. Lawless (Robert), Anita K. Moody and Marilyn A. Zeilinga (Martin); son, Stephen P. Moody; sister-in-law, Joyce A. Leininger; and grandson, Christopher M. Zeilinga (Beth).
