Albert J. "Pinkie" Bear, 77,702 Hill St., died at 8:3O
p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1983, at his home.He was born in Tipton, Aug. 20, 1906, a son of Marlon G. and Mary
(Altherr) Bear. Oct. 21, 1931, he married Mary Wheatley, who survives. A construction superintendent, Mr. Bear was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Kokomo Carpenters
Union Local 734 and Knights of Columbus, where he also
was a past grand knight. Other survivors include two sons,
Joe Bear of Windfall and Ray Bear of Cicero; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Beadie) Sampson and Mrs. Malachy (Martha) McCormack, both of Tipton, and Mrs. Ed (Theresa) Lutchka of Wright City, Mo.; three sisters, Carolyn Ley and Dorothy
Moody, both of Indianapolis, and Anna Marie Brown of Cullman
Ala.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A brother is deceased. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday
in St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. John Bouvier will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at Young-Nichols Funeral
