Amy Mower Casto, age 84, died September 22, 1990 at her home in Holladay, Utah.

She was born June 7, 1906 in Fairview, Utah the daughter of Sidney W. and Mary Hansen Mower.

She married Fenno B. Casto July 1, 1931 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Amy served an honorable LDS mission in the East Central States.

She served the Lord faithfully all of her life.

Her callings included serving in the primary for 44 years as a teacher, a ward Primary President, a stake Primary President, and was a member of the Primary General Board for about 14 of those years.

She also served in various other positions in the LDS Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters, Colleen and Lora Lee.

Amy is survived by her children and their spouses; Lajuan and Marvin Johnson, Robert and Ellie Casto and Clara and Chris Jensen.

Amy has 10 grandchildren: Alice, Debbie, Vicki, Pam, Bruce, Steven, Ginny, Steven, Loralee and Cindi and 9 great-grandchildren; Honi, Landon, Maggie, Jill, Mark, Joseph Christopher, Jenni, and Geoffrey.

Amy loved her family and friends and was loved by all who knew her.

One of her greatest joys was her garden, which brought joy to all who passed.

Because of this love, Amy requested that her viewing be held in her garden.

It will be held Wednesday September 26, 1990 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 4864 Wander Lane (2800 East) Holladay, Utah. Also one hour prior to service at the chapel.

Funeral services will be held in the Holladay 18th Ward chapel 2625 E. Milo Way (4910 South) on September 27, 1990 at 1 p.m.

Interment, Holladay Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Amy requested her love for chidren be remembered by contributions to the Primary Childrens Medical Center.
