Mrs. Emma Abbot Warthman, wife of Charles Warthman, of Craigville, of whose death brief mention was made Friday, passed away Friday about twelve o'clock after a sickness covering more than three months. Her death was immediately due to lung trouble, which had its beginning shortly after the birth of her infant daughter twelve weeks ago.

Two years after her marriage she and her husband moved to this county where they settled in the vicinity of Craigville. They were preceded to this county by her parents and her brothers and sisters, who moved a year before she and her husband lift their Ohio home. They have continued to reside in the vicinity ever since and are numbered among the highly respected and well-known residents of the county. Mr. Warthman is one of the extensive land owners of his part of the county, owning three eighty-acre farms and one forty-acre farm.
Mr. and Mrs. Warthman are the parents of nine children - Wilmer, Ethel, Zetta, Chauncey, Louis, John, Nellie and two other younger children.
