Wilmer Warthman Death Is Sudden
Wilmer R. Warthman, 67, died suddenly at 1:15 a.m. today following a seizure at his home in Craigville. He was a well known retired farmer of that community.

Mr. Warthman was born June 20, 1890, in Wells County to Charles and Emma Abbot Warthman. His marriage was to Anna Yake, who survives.

He was a member of the Craigville Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Survivors include the wife; five daughters, Mrs. Wilma Reed of Craigville, Mrs. Luella McAgern of Libertyville, Ill., Mrs. Edna Everett of Decatur, Mrs. Ernest Huffman of Swanton, O., and Miss Donnabelle Warthman, at home; four sons, Harold and Paul Warthman of Decatur, Dale Warthman of Bluffton and Donald Warthman, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Martin Gahman of Craigville and Mrs. Ernest Sills and Mrs. Herman Mahler of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Chancey Warthman of Bluffton and John and Ford Warthman of Fort Wayne; and 11 grandchildren.

A son and two sisters are deceased.

The body was removed to the Black Funeral Home at Decatur, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.

Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and at 2 p.m. at the Craigville Evangelical United Brethren Church. Rev. Fred Pflugh will officiate and burial will be in the Craigville Cemetery.
