Daisy Bell Hower (Hill) Knollinger. Daisy was born to George and Rena M. Hower (Burns) on Nov. 27,1915 in Brunswick Michigan. She spent her childhood in the Muskegon area.
In 1933 she married James A. Hill. Together they had 8 children, to include a baby that died at birth. Children are; Barbara,(deceased, Feb. 2002), James, John (deceased June, 1978) Donald, William ( now deceased ,2014) Connie and Russell (deceased 1944). Her husband, James A. Hill passed away in Jan. 1962.
From 1950, until the time of her passing, Daisy lived in Whitehall, Michigan. Daisy was a self employed beautician. For many years, she owned and operated "Daisy's Beauty Shop" in Whitehall. Prior to that she was helpful in other family business', such as, Hill's Old Dutch Service Station and at one time a produce market and store.
In 1968, Daisy married William Knollinger Sr.. They were married until his death in 1992. In her later years, Daisy lived on her own taking care of her yard and birds and special four footed friend, 'Maggie'.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, with her daughter Connie at her side, Daisy slipped peacefully into eternal sleep. Mom will be sadly missed....by family and everyone who knew her.
