Services for Ebon Sadler Cowart are at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. James Huffaker will officiate. Mrs. Cowart died Sept. 1 at Camellia Gardens of Life Care. Born Feb. 7, 1914 in Grady County, she was the daughter of the late General Bragg Barrett and Tiercy Levins Barrett. She was a homemaker and a member of Dawes Presbyterian Church. She was married to R. H. Sadler who preceded her in death on July 4, 1968 and to John W. Cowart who preceded her in death on July 31, 2004.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wilbur and Gerri Sadler of Daytona Beach, Fla.; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Adrian Clark of Cairo, Frances and Jack Moore of Crawfordville, Fla., Hazel and Al Sellers of LaGrange; sister, Eudell Bryant of Pine Park; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Barrett, Cecil Barrett, Crawford Barrett; and a sister, Erie Barrett Knowles.
