Mrs. Georgia I. (Hill) Thoennes, 77, a life resident of this community, was dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday after suffering a heart attack in her home at 125 South St., West Lafayette.
Born in Lafayette, she married Frederick J. Thoennes in Chicago in 1911. Her husband for years operated the Cass Plumbing Company in West Lafayette. He preceded her in death in 1948.
A member of St. Mary Cathedral, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frances Lemond of Lafayette, Miss Dorothy Thoennes at home, and Mrs. Patricia Quinn of Speedway.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
THOENNES, Mrs. Georgia I. -- Family will receive friends after 4 p.m. Friday at Soller-Baker Main Chapel. rosary there at 8:15 p.m. Friday. Services at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Cathedral; interment in St. Boniface Cemetery, Lafayette. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren.
