After moving to Claremont she worked for three years as Secretary at La Verne College.
In 1970 she was Studio Director for the recording for the blind. She was member of the United Church of Christ, Congregational in Claremont. For six years she was Secretary of the Womens Fellowship and was Chairman of the Employed Womens Circle. She was Secretary of the Claremont Chapter of the Red Cross.
She lived, finally, at Hillcrest manor in La Verne, CA.
