Allan Davis, 50, Kennedy, died unexpectedly, Friday, Oct. 5, 2001 at Unity Hospital in Grafton.

Allan Leigh Davis was born in Minneapolis, Oct. 3, 1951, the son of Edward and Lorraine (Hegge) Davis.

He moved with his family to Kennedy July 1, 1965 and graduated from Kennedy High School in 1969.

On Dec. 18, 1976 he was united in marriage to Janna Dahl at Kennedy. Allan farmed in Skane Township and for the past two winters he had been driving for TranSystems.

He was a member of Maria Lutheran Church and was a former board member there. Allan was also a member of the Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department and served on the Kennedy Senior Housing Board.

Family members include his wife, Janna; two daughters, Lindsay, Colorado Springs, Colo. and Nancy at home; his mother, Lorraine, Kennedy; two brothers, Charles and John both of Grand Forks; a sister, Donna (Stan) Hanson, Washington State; a half brother, Edward, Las Vegas, Nev. and a half sister, Loni Davis, California.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, 2:00 p.m., Maria Lutheran Church, Kennedy.

Interment was in the Kennedy Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Losch and Mylo Carlson, presided.

Pallbearers were Chris Swenson, Paul Larson, Rich Deere, Mark Lundberg, Steve Lofstrom, Joe Munn, Rick Moen, Dennis Winge, Dr. Mike Traynor and Conrad Dahl.

Hughes Funeral Home, Hallock, was in charge of arrangements.
