A daughter of James Malcom; a Lawyer and Planter, who, along with a son, John Malcom, a Planter, was instrumental in the building of the town, Madison, Georgia.

Her father in law, Joseph Herndon was a pioneer to this area from North Carolina and was also Planter. James Malcom and Joseph Herndon were very close friends.

(Hi! I believe that Anna Malcom was first married to a William Watson (abt 1800-1821), making Watson her previous married name. Then she married Merriman Herndon. Susan Clark Neese)
