All the info I was able to find on Grace said that her parents were Samuel (Smyth) Smith and Grace Gawkroger. There is a West Yorkshire Baptism Record for Oct. 1599 at St. John the Baptist Church in the Halifax Parish, with father listed as Samuel. The only baptism records I found naming a father as Christopher were much later than her birth (ie: 1617 and on).
