Services for Forselene Ward Belvin, 73, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel AME Methodist Church with the Rev. E. Lambert, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Jamison Funeral Home.
She died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Big Sandy. She married Rudolph B. Belvin on Oct. 26, 1944, in Lubbock. She moved to Lubbock 57 years ago from Big Sandy.
She was a member of Bethel AME Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served as an usher for many years. She was also a member of the Chat and Chew Social Club of Lubbock and was active in the community.
She was a licensed cosmetologist.
