Luther was the son of James Allen Morgan and Sarah Elizabeth Belisle Morgan. He was the brother of Maggie, Edgar, Homer, Owen Titus, Martha Morgan Oliver, Bernice Morgan Oliver, Blanche and Flora


Luther P Morgan, 84, 2457 Dewey Ave., died at St. Elizabeth Medical Center on Friday, April 9, 1982.
He was born in Dover, Tenn., and had been a resident here for 55 years. Mr. Morgan retired in 1962 from Nesco Steel Barrel, where he had been employed as a electrician for 50 years.
He was a member of the Bethel Chapel Pentecostal Church.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mattie Morgan; two daughters, Mrs. Philip (Lora) Wrolen, Granite City and Mrs. Lurton (Delphine) Pulley, Granite City, on son, Carl Morgan, Granite City and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Bethel Chapel Pentecostal Church, 25th and Ohio, from Davis Funeral Home, 21st Street and Cleveland Boulevard. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, 2901 Nameoki Road.
