On 12JUN1889 in St. John's Church, Washington, DC she married Lt. Albert Gleaves, USN. They had 2 daughters: 1. Annie Heap Gleaves (15JUL1890 - ), married Lt. Thomas E Van Meter, USN; Evelina Porter Gleaves (26MAY1895 - ), married Lt. Albert Morris Cohen, USN.
