Mrs. Zetta Hall Cobb, 87, of Dallas, died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Robin Johnson Hospice House.

Born in Haywood County NC, she was the daughter of the late Ulus and Burdyne Hall.

Mrs. Cobb was a Nurses Aide at Gaston Memorial Hospital for 33 years. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Gastonia where she was active with the Golden Age Club, of which she served as President, and the W.A.C.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, William Thomas Cobb; son, Von Alfred Cobb; daughters, Alice Moss and Diane Sheppard; grandchildren, Steve Cobb, Terry Moss and Mike Moss; sisters, Bessie Gilbert and Etta Ramsey Long.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Glenn Atchley of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Geter and Norma Lee Hall of Morristown, TN; grandchildren and spouses, Melissa and Jason White, Apryl and Thomas Smith, Cindy and Ron Todd, Sid and Kim Sheppard, Ronda Reece, Beverly and Link Grass, Billy and Angie Cobb, Wayne and Tammy Cobb; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; special caregiver, Linda Walker; special pet, Buffy.

Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
