Harvey Heath McElhany died at his home on Friday evening, June 8, after a prolonged illness with consumption. He was born in Elizabeth Oct. 15th, 1849, and was thus in his 45th year. He was the son of John and Mary McElhaney. His father died with the same disease a number of years ago, but the mother survives. He was married Nov. 12, 1870, to Miss Lizzie N. McGinley, who survives him with six children, namely, Nell, William H., Anna B., Walter C., John D. and Mary Martha. The interment was Monday, at Elizabeth cemetery.
