Ellen (Nell) Irene Jaymes, 88, of Clay Center, died Thursday, August 2, 1990, at her home. She was born November 5, 1901, in Chapman, Kansas, the daughter of William and Anna Nicholson Hannan. She was married to Roy Jaymes, Feb 4, 1920 in Junction City, Kansas. He died December 16, 1957. Mrs. Jaymes was a member of the St Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Clay Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat and husband Rober Simmons of Clay Center, Leone and husband, Bill Powell of Limon, Ohio; one son, Bob Jaymes and wife, Shelly of Topeka; one brother, A.A. Hannan of Haviland, Kansas; two sisters, Ruth and husband Bill Gaden of Manhattan, Marie Eustace of Clay Center; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be a t 10 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Msgr. John George Weber officiating. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday.
