Betty Jean Dresbach

Betty Jean Dresbach, 66, of Kingston, died April 20, 1996, at the Adena Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 4, 1930, in Johnstown, the daughter of James and Louise Harper Priest. On Oct. 17, 1948, she married Lyman Dresbach Jr., who died Oct. 12, 1993. She was also predeceased by parents; five brothers; and two sisters.

She was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church and President of the American Legion Post 291 Auxiliary.

Mrs. Dresbach is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, James and Ann Dresbach, Circleville, Jeffery and Cheryl Dresbach, Burkburnett, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jim Chester, Baltimore, Md.; brothers, Floyd (Evelyn) Priest, Florida; sisters, Dorothy Skeens, Janet (Harry) Halliday, all of Columbus, Jancie (Richard) Palmer, N.Y., Eshter (Jim) Dixson, Sunbury; and grandchildren, Greg, Susan, Lisa, Morgan, Ben, Whitney and James.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, with Rev. Berne and Rev. Poling officiating. Burinal will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call at Hill's Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
