He was born in Montgomery County and lived in Yell County since 1946. He was a farmer and member of the Church Of God.
Survivors include Estelene Smith of Aly; two daughters, Linda Bissell of Story, and Lisa Gale Lambert of Aly; one brother, John Smith of Story; three sisters, Jessie Gwinnup of Colusa, California, Pauline Harvey of Aly and Burt Ballew of Buckville; and three Grandchildren.
Services were Monday in the Reed Church of God with Reverend Billy Singleton and O.D.Minton officiating.
