Mason Coutts, 81, a resident of Ethel for the past 24 years, died Monday night in a Centralia nursing home following a lingering illness.
Mr. Coutts, born June 15, 1887 in Portage County, O., formerly lived at Issaquah. He was a custodian at the Onalaska school district prior to his retirement.
Surviving are the widow, Thora, at home; a son, Clifford, Shelton; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. (Loretta) McCormick, Marysville, and three grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Sticklin Funeral Home, Chehalis, with the Rev. Guy Morris officiating. Interment follows at Greenwood Memorial Park, Centralia.
