David Peter Kaney Sr.53 Died Monday at Fort Gordon Hospital The Rite of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the valley Catholic Church Wednesday at 3Pm. with Father Louis V.Tonero Officiating.Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden with full Military Honors. Mr.Kaney was a native of Aiken County and was Retired from the U S Army he was a veteran of world war 11,and the Korean war. He was Employed by Mid South Container Corp.Survivors include his wife Margaret Whisenant Kaney,one daughter Cecilia K.Hilliker of Augusta Georgia,Two Sons David Peter Kaney Jr. of Bath,South Carolina,Glenn Patrick Kaney of Augusta,Georgia four Sisters Lizzie Kaney,Martha K.Buck of Langley S.C.,Minnie K.Bilton of Augusta,Georgia,Mary K.Hibbitts of North Augusta,S.C.Two Brothers Otto Kaney, of Langley S.C.,M.D.Kaney of Aiken, South Carolina,He was preceaded in death by his parents Michael D.and Ada P.Redd Kaney A Twin brother Joseph L.Kaney.and four other Brothers Dudley Kaney,Melvin Kaney,John Kaney,James Kaney.Friends may call at Posey's Funeral Home Langley South Carolina.
