David Yegerlehner, 1808-1883, a native of Switzerland, was the father of three children. No records concerning his wife have been preserved but one son, John, a physician, located in the vicinity of Huntington, Indiana, and a daughter, Sophia, resided in the same place. Another son, Christian Yegerlehner, came to the vicinity of Marion in Owen County, but later moved to Clay County. David operated a carpet weaving machine in a log house directly across the road from the present Yegerlehner home...
