Nita Lott was the wife of Grant Lott (1921-1998). She was the daughter of William Daniel Benefield (1898-1944) and Alda Lee (Eunice) Benefield (1902-1959) of Berrien County, Georgia. She was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL, and a member of the North Main Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: Grant Lott, her husband of 52 years; her parents; and four brothers, Robert Benefield, Carlton R. Benefield, Mark W. Benefield, and Havious Q. Benefield. Her survivors include her 3 daughters, Linda Lott Edwards (Mabry), Bonnie Lott, and Thelma Lott Gibson; a son, Leonard "Buddy" Lott; a brother, Troy E. Benefield; 6 grandchildren, Tracy Zillgitt (Karl), Brian and Kevin Edwards, Michael, Lisa and Timmie Lott.
