Grant Lott was the husband of Alda Juanita (Benefield) Lott (1926-2002). He was the owner of Lott's Barber Shop on North Main Street for 42 years. He lived in Jacksonville for 52 years, and was a member of the North Main Street Baptist Church, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was a member of the Ezra Lodge.

He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Alda Juanita (Benefield) Lott; 4 daughters, Linda Edwards, Bonnie Lott, Thelma Gibson, and Marianne Sang; a son, Leonard "Buddy" Lott; 8 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Grant Lott, a WWII US Army veteran, was the son of Elisha A. Lott (1885-1964) and Sarah "Lizzie" Alice Lott of Alapaha, Berrien County, Georgia.
