He lived in Jacksonville for 52 years, and was a member of the North Main Street Baptist Church, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was a member of the Ezra Lodge.
He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Alda Juanita (Benefield) Lott; 4 daughters, Linda Edwards, Bonnie Lott, Thelma Gibson, and Marianne Sang; a son, Leonard "Buddy" Lott; 8 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
