Survived by a brother, Walter (Butch) Norman) Slanger of Portage; 5 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Helen and 2 sons. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6 at 11 a.m. at the Olson Funeral Home, Pastor Robert Weinhold officiating. Burial at Cedar Park Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois. Friends are invited to call Friday at the Olson Funeral Home, Portage. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the Porter Heart Fund.
