Hebron – Services for N S "Scott" Brewer Sr., 91, who died Aug. 31, 2003, were held 2 pm, Sept. 2, 2003, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. R C Bryan and Barry Hathcock.

Interment was held in Hebron Cemetery.

Mr. Brewer was a retired farmer and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Billie Sue Walker of Pheba and Gloria Dean Brown of West Point; three sons, L D Brewer of West Point, Franklin Brewer of Pheba, Scottie Brewer Jr. of West Point, 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtis Katherine McMullen Brewer and one daughter, Jewel Smith Dunn.

Pallbearers were Nick Walker, Frank Walker, Mike Brown, Mark Brown, Robbie Brewer, Billy Brewer, Phil Brewer, Byron Brewer, Claude Smith and Ken Smith.

Honorary pallbearers were O M Johnson, Johnny Mitchell, Dr. T N Braddock, Dr. Gerry Jeffcoat, Dr. Edmund A Miller Jr., staff of North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point.
