"Marlys E. Blundy, 68, died February 19, 1999.
She was born November 22, 1931 in Lake Odessa, the daughter of Leo and Naomi (Olmstead) Longwell.
Mrs. Blundy was a member of the Portland VFW Post #4040 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Lakeland Florida American Vets Post #32 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick B. Proctor on February 10, 1981, and one sister, Ettie Emma Davis. Survivors are her husband of 12 years, Donald A. Blundy; daughter, Vickie L. (Ken) Huhn of Portland; two sons, Frederick B. (Ruth) Proctor Jr., and Gregory N. Proctor, both of Portland; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Roy (Shirley) Longwell of Grand Rapids; three sisters, Madge Brown of Hastings, Ruth Seymour of Grand Ledge, and Eloise Lyons of Grand Rapids.
Funeral services will be noon, Tuesday, February 23, at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. Neller Chapel, 210 Bridge St., Portland, with the Rev. Marilyn V. Danielson, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Portland,
officiating. Interment will follow in Portland Cemetery."
