Mrs. Ella Pauline Niccum
Mrs. Ella Pauline Niccum, 89, 2015 E. 10th, formerly of 737 College, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, at a Topeka nursing home.
Mrs. Niccum and her husband farmed in the Berryton community several years and she later was a private duty home nurse in Topeka several years before she retiree d.
She was born Nov. 19, 1896, near Topeka, the daughter of William and Rose Baldwin Dustin, and spent her life in Shawnee County.
She was married to Glenn Charles Niccum Jan. 1, 1919, in Topeka. He died Aug. 16, 1974.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rosemarie McElroy, Topeka, and Mrs. Marianna Porter, Perry; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Tibbitts-Griffin Highland Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Lynn Creek Cemetery near Berryton.
