Mrs. Virginia Cornwell, 55, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday at Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond.

Mrs. Cornwell is survived by her husband, Clarence Cornwell; a son, Charles Cornwell of Manassas; two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Warner of Quantico and Ms. Monteray Cornwell of Manassas; a sister, Mrs. Maudie Cornwell of Manassas; four half-sisters, Mrs. Viola Hensley, Mrs. Eva Brummit and Mrs. Beannie Mullen, all of Manassas, and Mrs. Lidia Price of Herndon; two brothers, Clyde Wampler of Haymarket and Harold Wampler of Manassas; a half-brother, Jessie Romine of Fairfax, and eight grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Burial will be in Stonewall Memory Gardens Cemetery in Manassas. The Rev. Ernest Dyson will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
