Raymond Hicks, 77, 326 Foreman Ave., a retired maintenance department employee of the University of Kentucky , husband of Cecilia Taylor Hicks , died Sun. after a long illness. A native of High Bridge, he was a son of the late Richard and Minnie Alcorn HIcks. He was a member of the Revival Tabernacle. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons , Raymond Hicks Jr and Richard Hicks , both of Tucson AR; one daughter Zelma Denham , Erlanger ; one stepson Bill Littral; Lexington, one step daughter , Mrs. Morris ( Kay) Riggs, Lexington. three sisters Lillie Misenheimer, Georgetown, and Irene Masengale and Hazel Elliott , Lexington ; four grandchildren ; several great grandchildren , 5 step grandchildren and one step great granchild.
Funeral services 1 p, Wed. at the Revival Tabernacle , 1820 Versailles Rd., by the Rev. Byron F Jessup , the Rev. Paul Dobson and Sister Jo White.
Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park .
Friends may call at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home from 3-9 pm today and at the church after 11 am Wed.
