Miss Rainwater was born Feb. 26, 1905, on Robinette Mountain near Dayton, to pioneer parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob S. Rainwater. She was educated in Dayton schools and attended business college in Spokane. She worked for the Bell Telephone Co. in Dayton for a number of years, and then transferred to the Seattle office of the telephone company. She worked for the Bell System for 36 years, retiring in 1961. She spent her retirement years in Dayton.
She was a former member of the Dayton Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star, Rainbow Chapter No. 2 and the Retired
Telephone Employees.
She is survived by three sisters, Jessie Thompson, Opportunity, Wash.; Agnes Stone, Zenith, Wash., and Leah Forth, Dayton; her brother, Robert Rainwater of Indianapolis, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
