Gosport, Ind. (Special)
Mrs. Gertrude Childers, 65, Gosport, died Thursday at Bloomington Hospital. She was a member of the Salem Methodist Church. Surviving are six sons, Elmer and Denver, both of Bloomfield; Robert, Bloomington; Henry, Michigan; Jack, North Carolina; and Lowell, Martinsville; one daughter, Mrs. Viola Hall, Gosport; several brothers and sisters; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The Rev. June Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Gosport cemetery.

"Mrs. Gertrude Childers
Mrs. Gertrude Childers, 65, of R. 1, Gosport, died Thursday at Bloomington Hospital.
She was a member of the Baptist Church in Pottersville.
She is survived by her husband, Abijah; a daughter, Mr. Viola Hall of Gosport; six sons, Henry of Detroit, Mich., Elmer and Denver, both of Bloomfield, Lowell of Martinsville, Jack of Goldsboro, N. C., and Robert of Bloomington; a sister, Mrs. Viola Heaton of Detroit, Mich.; one brother, Pope Bird also of Detroit, Mich.; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Rev. June Evans will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Sunday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Gosport. Burial will be in Gosport Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 tonight at the funeral home.
