Mrs. Robert (Agnes) Henning was born in Miltona, Minnesota on June 21, 1908, the daughter of Herman and Emma (Zunker) Timm She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Miltona and attended school at District 73, Miltona Township. On May 1, 1928 she was united in marriage to Robert Henning at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. After their marriage Robert and Agnes lived and farmed in the Miltona Township area until 1986 when theyt moved to the Knute Nelson Home.
Agnes died at the Knute Nelson Home on October 25, 1991. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Duane (Shelbee Jean) Kaufman of Alexandria; Mrs. Ralph (Elaine) Hollis of Alexandria; one son: Kenneth and wife, Vergene Henning of Miltona; seven grandchildren; nine great grandsons; and one sister Clara Lemke of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1990, infant daughter Jean, parents, grandson Douglas, three brothers, Emil, Albert and Fred, and two sisters, Laura and Viola.
Funeral services were October 27, 1991 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Miltona, Minnesota with Rev. Donald Erickson officiating. Pallbearers were Verla Schwendemann, Don Leatherman, Dick Timm, Darrell Timm, Charlene Timm and Harland Lemke. Honorary pallbearers were Louise Dahl, Paula Flanagan, Kristi Holmen, Brenda Hemesman, Jodi Brusven and Lori Hollis. Interment was at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Miltona, Minnesota. Services directed by Petermeier's Alexandria Funeral Home.
