Dorsey T. Conklin, Sr., a resident of this vicinity all his life, died at 2:10 p.m. today at his home near Roscoe. He was 84 years old.
Mrs. Conklin was born Oct. 26, 1857, in Harrison twp. He had been a farmer all his life.
Surviving are two sons, James H. Conklin, Rockton, and Dorsey T. Conklin, Jr., Elmhurst, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Todd, Harrison and Mrs. Howard Scott, Shirland, and four grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.
