Steven J. Losh Buried Here on Wednesday May 25 Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 25, 1977 for Steven J. Losh, who was killed some time ago. The services were held in the Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove, under the direction of Bishop Lyle V. Thacker of the Pleasant Grove Second Ward.
Speakers at the services were Thiele Roberts and Bishop Thacker. Musical numbers were given by a vocal quartet, Elwood Allen, Frederick R. Shoell, Conrad Fuller and Keith Stirling, accompanied by Catherine Rees. Musical numbers also included a taped musical selection ''Why Me?"
Prayers were offered by Lloyd Bair, Robert Williams, and E.M. Williams, and the grave in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery was dedicated by Reed Walker.
Pallbearers were Dan Morgan, Steven Ray Jolley, Chris Scott, Wallace Lucas, Douglas McEwan and Robert McEwan.
Steven J. Losh was born Mar. 20, 1952 in American Fork to John H. and Dorothy Rushton Losh. He attended schools in Pleasant Grove, and was a member of the LDS Church.
His body was found in a shallow grave last Wednesday near Red Creek in Duchesne County. He was to testify in a murder trial in April. An autopsy was made Monday by the State Medical Examiner, and he was found to have been shot three times.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Reed (Joan) Bair of Pleasant Grove.
